Thotos began with a connection made while driving, not in a boardroom. The link between Lean methodology and artificial intelligence was obvious the moment it clicked: businesses have spent decades learning how to eliminate waste and build repeatable processes through Lean, and AI only works when it's layered onto that same kind of foundation. Other people have landed on that same connection since. Thotos was built on it from day one. AI readiness was never something we added later, it was the whole reason the company exists, making sure a business's foundation is solid before AI tools get layered on top of it.

That foundation came from two directions. Years inside operations taught what actually breaks when a business tries to scale, the gap between how work is supposed to happen and how it really does. A focused push starting late in 2024 added the other half, taking AI seriously enough to understand it the same way, not as a shortcut but as another system that needs the same discipline. Neither side works alone. Operations knowledge without AI stays stuck doing things the slow way. AI without operations discipline builds tools nobody's business is actually ready to use.
